Thich Nhat Hanh taught mindfulness meditation to millions, maybe billions, of humans. The easiest of these meditations is to simply take some time to be aware of a few breaths during the day and say to yourself, “Breathing in, I know I am breathing in. Breathing out, I know I am breathing out.” The simple attention to the present will help to maintain an equilibrium through out your day. The app ‘Mindfulness Bell’ randomly rings a soft bell throughout the day as a reminder to stop and consciously breathe in and out three times. When I was a CEO, my whole staff would join in and breathe together when we heard the ding on my phone – fun!
